The Art Monthly Foundation (a charitable incorporated organisation registered in England and Wales) aims to improve the appreciation and understanding of contemporary art through a direct critical engagement with new and challenging art, and the context in which it is made and viewed. This is carried out primarily, but not exclusively, through the publication of an arts journal, Art Monthly magazine, as well as through books, talks, events and other activities.
